This is a Madhubani Art style painting.

There are many stories about Krishna's mischevious nature. One such is of his love for butter and how he would steal and eat the butter his mother carefully hid from him. A beautiful depiction of this in Madhubani style.

About Madhubani Art: Indian Madhubani Folk art/painting is one of the many famous Indian art forms. As it is practiced in the Mithila region of Bihar and Nepal, it is called Mithila or Madhubani art. It has culturally based art forms that are handed down through generations. It is an artistic expression, and the style of artwork reflects the culture from which it originates. This art form is characterized by geometric patterns and mostly depicts scenes of Gods, weddings, flora, and fauna.

There are three main themes in Madhubani art: Religious, Social scenes and Elements of Nature. Hindu mythological figures and scenes from sacred texts are very common subjects, featuring popular deities like Radha and Krishna, Shiva, Ganesha, Saraswati and Laxmi.
